A square lightweight galvanised steel plate without any collar.

Application(s)

Where a vent passes through a floor or ceiling without support, a firestop spacer must be used on both sides of the penetration to provide a barrier to fire and maintain a 50mm air gap clearance to combustible materials.
If using a support plate where the pipe penetrates then only one firestop plate on the underside is required.

Installation

The plate can be screwed down on top of the floor joist or slab or can be fixed under the ceiling.
