Applications

• Where a vent passes through a sloping roof or ceiling this adjustable firestop accommodates the oval shape. A firestop spacer must be used on both sides of the penetration to provide a barrier to fire and maintain a 50mm air gap clearance to combustible materials.
• If using a support plate where the pipe penetrates then only one firestop plate on the underside is required.
• Note: The plate fits round the outercasing of the twinwall and so the hole measures 195mm for the 125mm internal dia, 210mm for the 150mm internal dia, 245mm for the 180mm internal dia and 265mm for the 200mm internal dia.

Installation

The plate can be screwed down on the underside of the ceiling or the loft side of a pitched roof.
